Practice and Future of Artistic Intervention in the Rural Construction of China:A Dialogue with Professor Fang Lili

基于中国乡村百年之痛以及对现代性及其后果的反思,艺术乡建主要从“生态性”“治理性”和“美好性”三个层面对乡村建设做出新的规划与构建,在乡村振兴和中华文化复兴中发挥着越来越重要的作用。艺术人类学逐渐关注人的情感之维,探讨情感结构与社会转型和变迁之间的深刻联系。在艺术人类学视野中,中国手工艺的复兴和乡村复兴实则是一套文化样态和审美哲学的复兴。艺术家介入乡村建设可以让乡民重新感知乡村的美,从而引领新时尚和社会革新。乡村是中国文化之根,不是我们拯救乡村,而是乡村拯救我们。我们的社会结构已经发生改变,今后的社会发展是去中心和多中心的重构。在这样的社会转型中,我们更需要迈向“生态中国”,需要新的看世界的方式和生活样式,从而真正在艺术层通达美美与共之境。

Based on the century-old sorrow and regret of China's rural society and reflections on modernity and its consequences,artistic intervention in the rural construction of China mainly makes a new layout and construction in three dimensions of“eco-logicality”,“governance”and“beauty”and plays an increasingly important role in the rural revitalization of China and the rejuvenation of Chinese culture.The anthropology of art gradually pays attention to the dimension of human emotion and explores the close connection between the structure of feeling and social transformation.From the perspective of the anthropology of art,the revival of Chinese handicrafts and the rural revitalization of China are actually the renaissance of a set of cultural patterns and aesthetic philosophy.The intervention of artists in the rural construction of China can make villagers re-perceive the beauty of the countryside,thus leading to new fashion and social innovation.The countryside of China is the root of Chinese culture.Not that we save the countryside,but that the countryside saves us.Our social structure has changed,and the future social development is the reconstruction of decentralization and polycentricity.In such a social transformation,we need to move towards“Ecological China”.We should observe the world in a new perspective and need a new lifestyle so that we can truly share the beauty of all cultures at the artistic level.
