Interpretation of Chinese Characters with the Tu-radical in Shuowenjiezizhu

段玉裁的《说文解字注》以许慎的《说文解字》为基础编撰而成。对于土部字的研究,可以从编排体例、训诂方法、六书分析、字义演变及古今字、异体字、正俗字等多方面入手,以字形、字音、字义三方面为切入点,细致解读土部各字,发现其汉语史研究价值,同时还要从土部字的读解中深入挖掘中国传统文化及民俗民风。

Duan Yucai’s Shuowenjiezizhu was compiled on the basis of Xu Shen’s Shuowenjiezi.This paper studies Chinese characters with the tu-radical from many aspects such as layout style,exegetical methods,meaning evolution,variant Chinese characters and so on,and interprets Chinese characters with the tu-radical carefully in the form,sound and meaning of Chinese characters to find out their value in the study of Chinese history.It also explores the Chinese traditional culture and folk customs from the interpretation of Chinese characters with the tu-radical.
