Xihe hemp paper is the first paper making in China,and has made contributions to the development of human culture.It is one of the"living fossils"of Chinese civilization.With its strict production process and exquisite craftsmanship,it fully demonstrates the wisdom of creation of the Chinese nation.By investigating the raw material,production,sales and income of hemp paper in Zhuhe village and Liuhe Village,,Xigaoshan town,Xihe County,Gansu province,and mostly investigating and analyzing the fine paper products and techniques accumulated in the historical development of Xihe hemp paper.This paper attempts to make people recognize the value of Xihe hemp paper,and promote the effective protection and inheritance of Xihe hemp paper.
