《傲慢与偏见》译本中的翻译审美

A Study of Translation Aesthetics in Pride and Prejudice

翻译美学并不是简单的翻译学和美学的概念叠加,而是一种具备审美意义的翻译研究与实践。文学翻译从本质角度而言就是一种创造性的审美选择活动,包括语言的选择、思想的选择、价值观念的选择等。翻译审美作为文学翻译的核心,需要从多个层面加以研究。以《傲慢与偏见》的汉译本为例,从翻译美学视角探讨其中的翻译审美环境、翻译审美本质、翻译审美原则、翻译审美方法等四个方面的选择。

Translation aesthetics is not a simple superposition for the concepts of translatology and aesthetics,but a translation study and practice with aesthetic signifi cance.Literary translation is,in essence,a kind of creative aesthetic choice,including the choice of language,the choice of ideas,the choice of values and so on.As the core of literary translation,aesthetics of translation needs to be studied from various levels.Taking the Chinese version of Pride and Prejudice as an example,this paper discusses the aesthetic environment of translation,aesthetic essence of translation,aesthetic principles and aesthetic methods of translation from the perspective of translation aesthetics.
