Mediating Effect of Filial Piety Expectation Between Self-Care Ability and Good Death Expectation Among Rural Elderly

目的探讨孝顺期待在农村老年人自我养老能力与优逝期望间的中介效应。方法采用便利抽样法抽取湖南省6个农村村镇的433名老年人为研究对象,采用一般情况问卷、孝顺期待问卷、自我养老能力量表及优逝期望量表进行调查。结果农村老年人的自我养老能力、孝顺期待、优逝期望总分分别为(181.85±18.63)分、(38.73±5.06)分、(118.72±12.79)分。孝顺期待与自我养老能力、优逝期望呈正相关(均P<0.01);孝顺期待在自我养老能力与优逝期望间起部分中介效应,占总效应的33.47%。结论自我养老能力不仅可以直接预测优逝期望,还能通过孝顺期待对优逝期望起间接预测作用。护理人员应重视子女情感支持的作用,提供人性化护理服务及健康信息获取途径,进而提高农村老年人优逝期望水平。

Objective To explore the mediating effect of filial piety expectation between self-care ability and good death expectation among rural elderly.Methods Convenience sampling method was used to select 433 senior citizens living in six rural villages in Hunan Province.The general information questionnaire,Filial Piety Expectation Scale,Self-Care Ability Scale,and Good Death Expectation Scale were adopted for investigation.Results The total scores of self-care ability,filial piety expectation and good death expectation among rural elderly were(181.85±18.63),(38.73±5.06)and(118.72±12.79),respectively.Filial piety expectation was positively correlated with self-care ability and good death expectation(all P<0.01).Filial piety expectation played a partial mediating effect between self-care ability and good death expectation,accounting for 33.47%of the total effect.Conclusions Self-care ability can not only directly predict good death expectation,but also indirectly predict good death expectation through filial piety expectation.Nursing professionals should pay attention to the role of the children’s emotional support,provide humanistic nursing service and access to health information,so as to improve the level of good death expectation among rural elderly.
