Objective To study the clinical effects of integrated Chinese and western medicine for ulcerative colitis(UC) patients. Methods 114 UC patients treated from January 2019 to October 2020 in our hospital were chosen as research subjects. According to single blind method, patients were divided into control group(57 cases) and research group(57 cases). The control group took the western medicine;the research group took the integrated Chinese and western medicine. After one month, the treatment efficacy, blood platelet, coagulation function and inflammatory factors were compared. Results The total effective rate in the research group(89.47%) was higher than control group(73.68%)(P < 0.05);before treatment, the blood platelet count(PLT), coagulation function indicators and inflammatory factors between groups were not significantly different(P >0.05);after treatment, prothrombin time(PT) and activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT) between groups were not significantly different(P >0.05);after treatment, PLT, plasma fibrinogen(Fib) and inflammatory factors levels in the research group were lower than control group(P <0.05). Conclusion The integrated Chinese and western medicine can inhibit the inflammatory response, correct the blood coagulation and plasmin imbalance and increase the treatment efficacy for ulcerative colitis patients.
