With the deepening of the new curriculum reform,teachers are required not only to train students'subject knowledge and skills,but also to strengthen students'physical quality and promote the overall development of students'comprehensive quality.By carrying out football teaching to junior high school students,we can strengthen students'physical quality and promote students'healthy growth.As a new teaching method,happy teaching method emphasizes guiding students to study,progress and grow happily.Its application in junior middle school football teaching can effectively improve the teaching effect.This paper expounds the connotation of happy teaching method and the necessity of developing junior middle school football teaching,introduces the current situation of junior middle school football teaching,and discusses the application of happy teaching method in junior middle school football teaching,hoping to provide some help for relevant researchers.
