高水平应用型大学是应用型大学在办学层次上的高水平发展,是应用型大学高质量发展的标杆和愿景目标。在国家实施高等教育分类发展之时,北京联合大学选择高水平应用型大学的发展方向,是在40余年的办学历程中,始终坚守“立足北京、融入北京、服务北京、发展北京”的使命担当,秉承“学以致用”的育人理念,在社会需求的外部导向和推动下发展壮大,并在不断建设和提升内部核心竞争力要素后做出的必然选择。

A high-level application-oriented university is deemed as the high-level development of an application-oriented university at the school running level,and it is the benchmark and goal for the high-quality development of an application-oriented university.When the country implemented the classified development of higher education,Beijing Union University chose the development direction of building high-level application-oriented universities.In the course of more than 40 years of school running,it has always adhered to the mission of“based on Beijing,being integrated into Beijing,serving Beijing and developing Beijing”,sticked to the educational concept of“learning to apply”,developed and expanded under the external guidance and promotion of social needs,and made the inevitable choice after continuously building and improving the internal core competitiveness elements.
