“以食为媒”:情感体验、集体记忆与跨文化传播的物质向度 被引量:4

“Food as Media”:Emotional Experience,Collective Memory and the Material Dimension of Transcultural Communication

摘要 饮食作为人类的天然需求,其习惯和偏好与社会文化产生千丝万缕的联系。食物作为人类文化史中重要的“流转物”,具有媒介的时间偏向;食物又在不同人类文明空间中传播,成为不同风俗文化和经验观念的直观呈现,且有媒介的空间向度。食物在跨文化流动中扮演了促成经验整合与文化接受的重要角色,食物的不断流动的丰富的历史,也是人类文明融和与发展的历史。食物从故乡到他乡,大多经历从惊异到接纳的过程,共食者的隐形身份为孟子所说的“共通感”提供了更多现实基础。在媒介物质转向视野下,“以食为媒”为跨文化传播提供了更多的可能。 As the natural demand of human beings,the habit and preference of diet have countless connections with social culture.As an important“circulating thing”in the history of human culture,food has the time bias of media,and it also spreads in the space of different human civilization,which is the visual representation of different customs, culture and experience, andhas the space dimension of media. Food plays an important role in promotingexperience integration and cultural acceptance in cross-cultural flow. The abundant history of food in contious flow, is also the history of the integrationand development of human civilization. The arrival of food from the Homelandto the Other is often a process of “cultural shock” to “acceptance” , and theinvisible identity of the co-eaters provide a more realistic basis for what Mencius calls “common sense”. In the perspective of media materiality, “food asmedia” depicts more possibilities of the transcultural communication.
