Resource/reserve estimation plays an important role in coal mining operation, and adopting efficient estimation methods and appropriate estimation parameters is very important to improve the accuracy of the results. Based on the actual situation of No. 3, No. 9 and No. 15coal seams in Dongfeng Coal Mine, combined with a series of data, this paper analyzes the estimation methods and principles of coal resources reserves, and is committed to further optimizing the estimation methods and improving the estimation level.
