摘要
19世纪末期兴起的新印象派主张在绘画中运用科学成果,并以此为基础建立绘画规则。新印象派的主将乔治·修拉利用科学的光色理论,改进了印象派的绘画技术,创立新印象派理论。修拉的绘画是现代艺术科学化的形式之一,那么厘清影响修拉的光色原理,有助于理解利用科学指导和完善艺术创作背后的深刻意义。本文选取了对修拉具有重要影响的亥姆霍兹、鲁特、谢弗雷尔等科学家的三原色、互补色理论,并对他们提出的加色法、色彩并置、色光混合等方法在修拉作品中的应用进行初步考察。
Neo-impressionism claims the application of scientific theories to painting to establish the rule of painting.Georges Seurat,the master of Neo-Impressionism,studied the scientific theories of optics and color,to improve the techniques of Impressionism and founded the theory of Neo-Impressionism.Seurat's practice is one of the scientific forms of modern art.Therefore,to clarify and reveal the scientific theories influencing Seurat helps the understanding the meaning of using scientific achievements to guide art creation.This paper would discuss the optics and color theories of Helmholtz,Rood and Chevreul that influenced Seurat,and interpret Seurat’s application of their additive color method,light and color mixing method.
