中国共产党百年发展史,从根本意义上说是一部党的政治建设史。用党的政治建设统领其他各项建设,是党不断发展壮大、从胜利走向胜利的根本保证。古田会议确立“思想建党、政治建军”原则,延安整风端正党的思想路线和政治路线,党的七届二中全会提出“两个务必”“走好赶考之路”,改革开放新时期注重制度治党,中国特色社会主义新时代强调坚持党的自我革命——这几大辉煌节点,生动彰显加强党的政治建设在百年党史中的重要地位和重大作用。坚持政党属性、坚持政治功能、坚持政治权威、坚持政党使命、坚持总体布局,是在百年历程中积累的加强党的政治建设的基本经验,蕴含着党的政治建设的历史逻辑、理论逻辑和实践逻辑。在新时代新征程上,必须进一步坚定政治信仰、坚守政治立场、严格政治规矩、净化政治生态、铸造政治文化,充分发挥党的政治建设在全面推进党的建设新的伟大工程中的根本统领作用。

The 100-year history of CPC is essentially a history of political work of the Party.The guidance of all the other works by political work of the Party guarantees the development of CPC from success to success.Gutian Conference establishing the principle of“ideological Party building and political army building”,Yan’an Rectification Movement promoting the Party’s ideological and political lines,the Second Plenary Session of the 7th CPC Central Committee proposing“two musts”and“progressing on the new journey of examination”,the reform and opening-up focusing on institutional governance of the Party,and the Party’s self-reform in the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics-all these key periods exhibit the crucial status and role of the Party’s political building in its centenary history.The exercising of political party’s nature and vision,its political function and authority,and the integrated plan is the basic experience of the Party’s political work on the journey over the past century with the embedded logic of history,theory and practice.On the new journey for a new era,we must commit to political belief,stance and discipline,purify political ecology,create political culture,and promote the leading function of the Party’s political building for the new great project.
