摘要
本文以思辨技能高、中、低水平的三名外语专业学生为个案,根据其三年思辨技能测试成绩及半结构式访谈的数据,对其思辨技能发展变化及影响因素进行深描,以揭示不同水平学生思辨技能发展的动态性及复杂性。研究发现,个案的思辨技能均有提高。学前特质、课程模式、课堂和课外经历对其思辨技能的发展有不同程度的影响。本研究结果证实了思辨技能发展的多元路径。
This paper reports the findings of a three-year longitudinal case study which explores the development of three foreign language majors’ critical thinking skills and its influencing factors. Surveys and semi-structured interviews were conducted at four stages respectively to provide an in-depth description and analysis of the changes. The findings reveal that their critical thinking skills have been improved over the years;precollege traits, coursework and curricular patterns, and out-of-class experiences play unequally important roles in the development of their critical thinking skills. The study provides evidence of multiple pathways for the development of critical thinking skills.
