Based on the analysis of heavy media feeding process in the slot of heavy media shallow slot sorting machine,we can grasp the characteristics of sorting machine sorting technology and complete the simulation analysis of heavy media feeding motion pattern in the slot using Fluent software to reveal the fluid flow velocity change law at the edge and core of each region.According to the infeed flow field morphology and motion law,the flow velocity of horizontal flow and upward flow can be reasonably set,which can achieve better sorting effect and provide reference for the design and improvement of sorting machine.
