摘要 生长分化因子8(GDF8),又名肌肉生长抑制素基因(MSTN),是转化生长因子-β(TGF-β)超家族成员之一。GDF8基因在哺乳动物的胚胎期和成年期呈现不同的表达模式,对骨骼肌的发育起着非常重要的调控作用。文章总结了GDF8基因的分子结构、组织表达特性以及在家畜经济性状(生长性状和肉质性状)、人类疾病发生发展和细胞增殖分化中的重要作用,以期为进一步提高家畜养殖的经济效益以及育种改良寻求有效途径。 Growth differentiation factor 8(GDF8),also known as myostatin(MSTN),is a member of transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β)superfamily.GDF8 gene has different expression patterns in embryonic and adult mammalian stage,and plays an important role in regulating the development of skeletal muscle.This paper summarized the molecular structure,tissue expression characteristics of GDF8 gene and its role in the economic traits(growth traits and meat quality traits)of livestock,the occurrence and development of human diseases and cell proliferation and differentiation,in order to improve the economic benefits of livestock breeding and provide new ideas for animal breeding.
