Industry Digitization、Generating Innovation and Regional Economic Growth

结合17个二位码制造业面板数据,实证检验产业数字化及其与引致创新交互项对区域经济增长的影响。结果表明:产业数字化显著促进区域经济速度增长和效率提升,起到经济加速与提效作用;引致创新优势强化经济提效效应,但对加速效应的影响存在门槛特征。进一步区分产业数字化投入来源,发现海外产业数字化投入对经济增长的加速效应明显大于本土产业数字化投入,对经济增长的提质效应与本土产业数字化投入作用基本一致。因此,加快中国制造业数字化转型,释放引致创新与产业数字化的乘数效应,有助于激活制造业创新活力,促进区域经济增长。

Combining 17 two-digit panel data of manufacturing to empirically test the impact of industrial digitization and its interaction with innovation-causing items on regional economic growth.The results show that industrial digitization significantly promotes regional economic growth and efficiency,and plays a role in economic speed and efficiency improvement;generating innovation’s advantages will strengthen the effect of economic efficiency improvement,but the impact on the acceleration effect has threshold characteristics.The research on further distinguishing the sources of industrial digital input shows that the acceleration effect of overseas industrial digital input on economic growth is significantly greater than that of local industrial digital input,and the quality improvement effect on economic growth is basically the same as the effect of local industrial digital input.Therefore,strengthening the digital transformation of China’s manufacturing and releasing the multiplier effect of generating innovation and industrial digitization will help activate the innovation vitality of the manufacturing and accelerate regional economic growth.
