摘要
Apomixis is defined as the formation of asexual seeds genetically identical to the mother plant.This process,stamping out allele segregation,may offer obvious advantages in agriculture,such as the complete transmission of traits from hybrid plants to progeny.However,agricultural application of apomixis has been limited due to the absence of this trait in most model species and the fact that most apomictic species are polyploid(Ozias-Akins and Van Dijk,2007).
