英语教学中的文化教学

On the Teaching of Culture in EFLT

本文从语言与文化的关系出发,探讨英语教学与文化教学的关系并提出了在处理本关系时应注意的几个问题,在广泛研究语言与文化的同时,进一步挖掘更多语词的文化内涵,最后对文化教学提出了几条实施性建议.

This article begins with the relationship between language and culture. Then I discuss the teaching of cultures in the process of teaching of English and mention that several aspects should be paid attention to in dealing with this relationship. The article also suggests that more culturally loaded words should be studied with its focus on their connotations. At last some proposals and methods are made to demonstrate how the principles and methods are applied in the teaching of culture.
