《绘图新三字经》出版价值探微

An Exploration of the Publishing Value of the“New Three Character Classic with Illustrations”

1944年,延安韬奋书店出版的《绘图新三字经》现藏国家博物馆,是中国革命出版物的经典。本文基于新发现的史料,从媒介、传播和传承维度解析其媒介社会关系:极端贫乏的物质条件使出版者选择了古老的木刻雕版印刷;为教化农民,出版了冬季扫盲识字课本;为有效传播并推动农耕文化转型,课本传播破除迷信、组织新型社会的现代知识,并创造了“绘图新三字经”的知识呈现方式;韬奋书店如此策略和行为既是其革命出版活动的内容和特征,也显示了伴随革命出版的革命启蒙和现代文化启蒙。这种革命启蒙与文化启蒙相统一的现代性就是《绘图新三字经》的媒介经典性。

The New Three Character Classic with Illustrations, published by Yan’an Taofen Bookstore in 1944, is now in the collection of the National Museum of China. It is a classic of Chinese revolutionary publications. Based on the newly discovered historical materials, this paper analyzes its media-social relationship from the dimensions of media, communication and inheritance: due to the extremely poor material conditions, the publisher chose the ancient woodblock printing technique;the textbook was published in order to educate the farmers,in winter slack period when they could not do farm work;in order to effectively spread farming culture and promote its transformation, the textbook disseminates knowledge about getting rid of feudal superstition and organizing a modern society and creates the knowledge presentation mode of the New Three Character Classic with Illustrations;The strategies and behaviors employed by Yan’an Taofen Bookstore are not only the content and characteristics of its revolutionary publishing activities, but also show the revolutionary and modern cultural enlightenments accompanying the revolutionar y activities. The media canonicity of the New Three Character Classic with Illustrations is embodied by its modernity featuring the unification of revolutionary and cultural enlightenment.
