Deixis relates actual language forms to their contexts. The understanding of deictic information is the key to successful communication. Egocentricity is a basic feature of deixis. It is very important in getting deictic information. This article discusses the deictic egocentricity, the projection of deictic center and some exceptions to egocentricity.
