Taking the example of capacity expansion and transformation of a LNG plant in Yuncheng area,Shanxi Province,this paper introduces the specific transformation scheme,especially the determination of process flow and the comparison and selection of main equipment.Utilizing the surplus capacity of the existing LNG liquefying equipment,by introducing the precooling units,cooling box,cooling unit,and cooling tower,the production capacity is expanded from 500,000m^(3)/d to 700,000m^(3)/d.
