As one of the representative works of female literature in the 1990s,Cheers with the Past has always been favored by academic.On the one hand,Chen Ran reveals the state of individual survival in society from a female perspective,pointing out that loneliness is an unavoidable emotional state.On the other hand,lonely experience is the power source of individual soul to be redeemed.Chen Ran’s writing of lonely experiences shows her own way of society imagination and gives the way and direction for individuals to get out of the survival dilemma,which has great poetic significance.
