西医院校中医教学中直面中药毒性的体会及反思

Experience and Reflection on Facing the Chinese Materia Medica Toxicity in the Teaching of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Western Medical University

中医学是西医院校学生的必修课程之一,既能加强学生对于传统文化的认知和归属感,又能使其拓展西医之外的临床思维和技能。但是短短一学期的中医学课程,涵盖面非常广,包括中医学基础理论、中医诊断学、中药学、方剂学等等,学生普遍反映学习时难以理解,学习后容易遗忘,同时由于对中药的一知半解,加之媒体对中药毒性的负面报道,西医院校的学生如同普通百姓,亦对中药有所偏见,往往不能正确认识中药毒性。作者认为在西医院校教授中医课程,应减弱晦涩难懂的中医基础理论部分,以学生未来成为一名临床医师的实际需求为前提,从学生时期,就在教学过程中消除其对中药毒性的偏见。文章针对作者从2012年以来在西医院校教授中医学的任职经验,谈一谈对中药毒性教学过程中的思考和体会。

Traditional Chinese medicine is one of the compulsory courses for students in western medicine colleges.It can not only strengthen students’cognition and sense of belonging to traditional culture,but also expand their clinical thinking and skills beyond western medicine.However,a short semester of traditional Chinese medicine covers a wide range,including basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine,diagnostics of traditional Chinese medicine,traditional Chinese medicine,prescription science and so on.Students generally report that it is difficult to understand and easy to forget after learning.At the same time,due to their little knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine and the negative reports of the Chinese materia medica toxicity by the media,students in western medicine universities are just like ordinary people.They are also biased against traditional Chinese medicine,often unable to correctly understand the Chinese materia medica toxicity.The author believes that in teaching Chinese medicine courses in western medical colleges,we should weaken the obscure part of basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine,take the actual needs of students to become a clinician in the future as the premise,and eliminate their prejudice against the Chinese materia medica toxicity in the teaching process from the student period.Based on the author’s teaching experience of traditional Chinese medicine in western medical univerity since 2012,this paper discusses some thoughts and experiences in the teaching process of Chinese materia medica toxicity.
