Study on Traffic Safety of Elderly Motor Vehicle Drivers

近年来,我国老年人口数量逐渐增多,人口老龄化问题日趋严重,因生理机能退化、反应能力降低等因素的影响,老年机动车驾驶人驾驶安全问题日益突出。由于老年机动车驾驶人的心理生理特点不同于年轻驾驶人,现阶段关于驾驶人交通安全的研究难以反映老年机动车驾驶人的驾驶特点,需针对老年机动车驾驶人群体展开研究,深入分析其驾驶特性,以保障老年机动车驾驶人的出行安全。为此,从老年人自身特点出发,对老年机动车驾驶人交通安全研究进行总结,以期填补国内对于老年机动车驾驶人交通安全研究的空白,为老年机动车驾驶人交通安全研究提供一定的参考与借鉴。

In recent years,the number of elderly people in China has gradually increased,and the problem of population aging has become more and more serious.Due to the influence of factors such as physiological function degradation and reduced reaction ability,the driving safety problem of elderly motor vehicle drivers has become increasingly prominent.Because the psychological and physiological characteristics of elderly motor vehicle drivers are different from those of young drivers,the current research on driver traffic safety cannot reflect the driving characteristics of elderly motor vehicle drivers.It is necessary to carry out research on the group of elderly motor vehicle drivers and analyze their driving characteristics in depth to ensure the travel safety of elderly motor vehicle drivers.Therefore,starting from the characteristics of the elderly,this paper summarizes the research on the traffic safety of elderly motor vehicle drivers,in order to fill the gap of domestic research on the traffic safety of elderly motor vehicle drivers,and provide some reference for the research of traffic safety of elderly motor vehicle drivers.
