Population dynamics of Spaelotis valida trapped by the monitoring light in Luohe, Henan Province

为了解瓦矛夜蛾种群消长动态,于2016—2021年在河南漯河利用虫情测报灯对其成虫种群动态进行了持续监测。结果表明,在河南漯河灯下瓦矛夜蛾始见日多在5月中旬,最早为3月1日,最晚为5月16日;终见日多在10月下旬,最晚为11月11日。成虫主要集中在5月中旬至6月中旬发生,其间诱虫量占调查期诱虫总量的69.14%;此外,在9月下旬至10月下旬存在诱虫小高峰。本研究结果将为漯河市及其他地区瓦矛夜蛾的预报和防控提供理论参考。

To understand the temporal occurrence pattern of Spaelotis valida, we continuously monitored the adult population dynamics in Luohe, Henan Province using a monitoring light from 2016 to 2021. The results showed that S.valida in Luohe usually started to appear in mid-May, with the earliest emergence on March 1 and the latest on May 16,and lasted till late October, with the latest appearing on November 11. Adults mainly occurred from mid-May to mid-June,during which the catches accounted for 69.14% of the total light-trap catches throughout the investigation. In addition,there was a small peak from late September to late October. The result of this study will provide a theoretical reference for the regional dynamic prediction and control of S. valida in Luohe and other areas.
