This paper expounds the high bandwidth demand and IP development trend in communication engineering, comprehensively considers the networking status and service bearing mode of local transmission network, and selects a bearing mode more suitable for the future development of transmission leased line service by analyzing the bearing capacity and evolution trend of existing SDH/MSTP, DWDM, IPRAN and PEOTN networks.
