摘要 晶体学相关知识是材料、化学类专业的重要课程内容。透彻理解晶体学知识是学生进入高阶专业课学习的前置条件,也是日后开展材料、化工相关工程实践及科学研究的必备理论基础。本文针对晶体学教学中的重点和难点,介绍一款功能强大的轻量级晶体学软件Vesta,并通过示例展示其在空间点阵、晶体结构、晶体对称性、X射线衍射等相关内容教学中的应用。文章总体表明该软件可以直观、快捷、多维度的方式加深学生对相关知识的认识和理解,为以能力培养为目标的高水平教学提供了新的动能和技术手段。 Crystallography is the core course content of materials and chemistry majors.A thorough understanding of the knowledge is a prerequisite for entering advanced the study of advanced professional courses,and it is also the necessary theoretical basis which makes the students capable of carrying out materials and chemistry-related engineering practice and scientific research in the future.This paper introduces a powerful yet lightweight crystallography software,named VESTA and shows its great advantages in teaching enhancement with examples covering the key and difficult contents in crystallography,including space lattice,crystal structure,crystal symmetry,and X-ray diffraction,etc.The article shows that the software can deepen students’ understanding of the related knowledge in an intuitive,fast,and multi-view way and provide new driving forces and technical means for achieving a high-standard,outcome-based education.
