In November 2021,due to various factors, the government implemented strict restrictions within the zhuanghe River, including blockades, traffic restrictions, social distancing and movement restrictions. These limitations provide testing grounds for exploring the effects of human activities on vegetation cover and surface temperature. So using remote sensing big data,we investigated how closures and traffic restrictions affected autumn vegetation in China in 2020.Our analysis shows that the November 2021 land surface temperature was 10.37°C warmer than the November 2020 average after the zhuanghe restrictions were implemented. The reduction in human activity caused by the ban contributed to a later winter in 2021.This study shows that short-term changes in human activity can have relatively rapid ecological impacts on a regional scale.
