Enlightenment of Chinese Zodiac Culture on Packaging Design——Taking the Chinese Zodiac Culture in Folk Art in Hubei as an Example

生肖文化是中国文化中独特又普遍的民俗现象,它对国人精神生活产生深远的影响,也在漫长的历史长河中塑造着中国人民的物质生活。湖北地区民间美术中的生肖形象有其独特的魅力,本文试图从装饰艺术的视角分析其中蕴含的装饰语言,从湖北地区民间美术中生肖文化的归类整理、风格分析中找出与当代包装设计的联系,运用案例分析法将其与当代优秀设计案例进行类比,验证其装饰艺术语言的可行性。

The zodiac culture is a unique and common folk phenomenon in Chinese culture.It has a farreaching impact on the spiritual life of Chinese people,and also shapes the material life of the Chinese people in the long history.The zodiac image in Hubei folk art has its unique charm.This paper attempts to analyze the decorative language contained in it from the perspective of decorative art,find out the connection with contemporary packaging design from the classification and style analysis of zodiac culture in Hubei folk art,and use the case analysis method to compare it with contemporary excellent design cases to verify the feasibility of its decorative art language.
