人文教育融入医学实验动物学教学实践探索

Exploration on integrating humanistic education into the teaching of Medical Laboratory Animal Science

每一次重大的医学进展都离不开实验动物的贡献。动物实验是医学生基本技能培训的重要内容,是基础医学教育的主要手段,所以医学院校都开设了医学实验动物学相关课程。医学实验动物学教学实践中涉及动物伦理、福利等人文问题。文章从医学实验动物学理论和实验教学、营造善待实验动物良好的校园氛围、利用互联网传递医学人文精神四个方面将动物福利理念贯穿整个教学过程,实现动物福利保护,将医学教育与人文理念更紧密地结合,达到了提升医学生人文素养的目的。

Laboratory animals are indispensable to every great medical advance. Animal experiment is an important part of basic skills training for medical students and a major means of basic medical education. Therefore, all medical colleges and universities offer courses related to Medical Laboratory Animal Science, in which the issues of animal ethics and welfare are involved. The authors have strengthened the animal welfare concept in four aspects: teaching of theories, experiment teaching, creating an atmosphere of ethical treatment of laboratory animals, and advocating medical humanistic spirit through social media. The animal welfare can thereby be guaranteed, medical education can be combined with humanities more closely, and the humanistic quality can be improved in medical students.
