严修在津活动遗址遗迹略考

A Study on the Sites and Traces of Yan Xiu’s Life Activities in Tianjin

本文根据齐鲁书社版《严修年谱》提供的线索,对现存严修先生在津活动的11组13处遗址遗迹逐一追索。考察这些与严修先生相关的历史文化空间,无论对于了解严修先生的人生履迹,还是提升历史建筑的人文内涵,进而增强民众的文化遗产保护意识,传播天津的历史底蕴和城市文化,都非常必要。

Based on the Chronicle of Yan Xiu’s Life published by Qilu Publishing House,this paper traces each of the 13 existing sites where Yan Xiu was active in Tianjin.The examination on these historical and cultural places associated with Yan Xiu is meaningful in various ways and essential to understand the life of Yan Xiu.It could help enhance the humanistic connotation of related historical buildings and consequently increase the public awareness of cultural heritage preservation.For Tianjin as a whole,such exploration could contribute to the dissemination of its historical heritage and to the upgrade of its city image.
