The Theoretical Logic of Political Economy of Common Prosperity

共同富裕是社会主义的本质要求,是中国式现代化的重要特征。在中国共产党成立一百周年之际,我国全面建成小康社会,而共同富裕社会是一种与全面小康社会衔接、提挡升级、更高层次的社会形态,必须着眼于全面建成社会主义现代化国家的根本要求来理解共同富裕的内涵。从马克思主义政治经济学的视角看,“富裕”体现生产力发展的要求,“共同”界定社会主义的生产关系性质,“共同”与“富裕”之间的关系体现的是生产力与生产关系的相互关系。要在认识和把握好生产力和生产关系发展规律的基础上,更好地理解和把握共同富裕,在更好地处理生产力和生产关系的运动规律中扎实推动共同富裕。具体来说,要充分发挥党对推进共同富裕的领导作用,坚持和完善社会主义基本经济制度,在高质量发展中分阶段逐步推进共同富裕。

Common prosperity is the essential requirement of socialism and an important feature of Chinese-style modernization. On the occasion of the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, China has built a moderately prosperous society in all respects. The society of common prosperity is a social form that connects with, upgrades to, and at a higher level than the moderately prosperous society in all respects. So, we must focus on the fundamental requirements of building a socialist modern country in an all-round way to understand the connotation of common prosperity. From the perspective of Marxist political economy, “prosperity” reflects the requirements of the development of productive forces, “common” defines the nature of socialist relations of production, and the relationship between “common” and “prosperity” reflects the mutual relationship between productive forces and relations of production. We should better understand common prosperity on the basis of understanding the development law of productive forces and relations of production, and promote common prosperity in better handling the laws of motion of productive forces and relations of production. Specifically, it is necessary to give full play to the CPC’s leading role in promoting common prosperity, uphold and improve the basic socialist economic system, and promote common prosperity step by step through high-quality development.
