低地草甸草层高度和地上生物量对牛采食行为的影响

Effects of Grass Height and Aboveground Biomass on Cattle Feeding Behavior in Lowland Meadow

摘要 笔者通过对草甸草地进行受控放牧试验,定量研究了牛的采食行为。结果表明,每口采食量较采食速度对草地状况更为敏感。放牧牛最终通过进食速度来调控采食量。当草层高度在16cm左右时,时限采食量接近最大水平。当草层高度变化时,首先调节每口采食量,进而通过进食速度来影响采食量大小。采食量、每口采食量和进食速度随地上生物量的增加而大幅度增加。每口采食量是采食行为中最为关键的参数。 By the controlled grazing experiment on The meadow grasslan,the foraging behaviour of grazing cales under diferent stock-ing rates were quantitatively analyzed in this paper.The results showed that the intake,the intake rate and intake per bite would increase with the process of the scasons'passing on The intake per bite was especially sensitive to the grassland condition than the biting rate to the grassland condition.The grazing cttles would fnally regulate the intake through intake rate.When the Sward heights was 16 cm or so,the time limit amount of intake reached or approached the highest level.W hen the Sward heights changed,the cattles first changed its amount of intake per bite and then by changing its intake rate to influence its amount of intake.The intake,the intake per bite and the in-take rate would increase in a large extent along with the increase of the aboveground biomass.The intake per bite was the most important parameter in the foraging behavior.
