Exploration of Vocabulary Teaching in English Reading Teaching

在新课程改革的背景下,教学模式的优化与创新已经成为英语教师的核心工作任务。文章简要分析初中英语词汇教学的重点,论述阅读教学与词汇教学之间的关系,在此基础上,结合阅读教学中、词汇教学中存在的问题,探究英语阅读教学中的词汇教学策略:设计课前预习环节,引导学生解决生词问题;革新教学方式,激发学生词汇学习兴趣;利用多媒体,强化学生词汇学习意识;创设阅读语境,提高学生词汇理解力;精选阅读材料,增加学生课外词汇量;组织多元活动,提高学生词汇应用能力。

Under the background of the new curriculum reform,the optimization and innovation of teaching mode has become the core task of English teachers.This paper briefly analyzes the key points of junior middle school English vocabulary teaching,discusses the relationship between reading teaching and vocabulary teaching,and on this basis,combined with the problems existing in reading teaching and vocabulary teaching,explores the vocabulary teaching strategies in English reading teaching:design the pre class preview link to guide students to solve the problem of new words;innovating teaching methods and stimulating students'interest in vocabulary learning;using multimedia to strengthen students'awareness of vocabulary learning;creating reading context to improve students'vocabulary comprehension;select reading materials to increase students'vocabulary after class;organize multiple activities to improve students'vocabulaiy application ability.
