Witnessing people's yearning for a better life since ancient times in the whole Haiyang area,Haiyang Yangko,which skillfully combines"nian"with folk dance,has become a model of intangible cultural heritage of Haiyang.With the change of time,Haiyang Yangko has continued to bring forth the new through the old on performance,and passed down from generation to generation through words and deeds,and thus has become an outstanding cultural symbol which the local people take pride in.At present,in the context of the media era,Haiyang Yangko,which has been inherited by oral teaching,is facing an unprecedented survival crisis.It is suggested that measures should be taken from the aspects of policy making and performance materials and forms in order to help it out of the dilemma and better inherited.
