摘要
英国教育家尼尔创办的夏山学校历经百年赓续至今。回顾夏山学校的办学实践,重温尼尔的教育思想,可以发现,夏山学校实际上是一个重视儿童自我认同,积极探索儿童自我教育的学习型社区。夏山学校构建的儿童自我教育体系主要包含儿童的“自我”疗愈、自主活动以及自治管理三个方面,最终指向独立且具有创造性的个体。
The Summerhill School,founded by British educator A.S.Neil,has been going on for a hundred years.By reviewing the school-running practice and Neil's educational thought,we find out that Summerhill School is actually a learning community that has been valuing children's self-identity and actively exploring children's self-education.The children's self-education system constructed by this school includes three major aspects,namely,children's self-healing,autonomous activities and autonomous management,which will ultimately aiming to develop independent and creative individuals.
