摘要
2022年北京冬奥会期间,结合冬奥冰雪主题、科技冬奥理念、冰立方参考形式和公共空间需求,本文团队在国家游泳中心南广场上完成了立体雪花造型的灯光艺术雕塑组团“雪绒星”。本文介绍了“雪绒星”的设计构思和数控建造方法研究中的创新工作,并简述了该项目所使用的技术——团队自主研发的编织结构空间网壳建造系统及其应用。
During the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics,a series of light art sculptures with the name Starry Snow were realized on the south square of the National Aquatics Centre in the central area of Beijing Olympic Park by the authors’team.The work is a series of large-scale 3D snowflakes originated from regular icosahedron that can be viewed from various directions in the square,and was constructed by the weaving gridshell structural system developed by our team.Through the combination of science and art,we tried to convey our understanding of the theme of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics—"Together for a Shared Future".This paper introduces the innovative work in the design and construction of the project,and briefly describes the application of the weaving gridshell system,which is an integration of form and structure for freeform construction.
