The advance in determination methods of COD in high-chloride wastewater is summarized,including chlorine emendation method,potassium iodide-potassium permanganate method,silver precipitation and acidization method,TOC-COD replacement method,standard curve method,low concentration oxidant method,activated carbon absorption method,spectroscopic method and ozonation chemiluminescence method.In this paper,the principles,advantages and disadvantages,applicable scope and other aspects of the COD determination methods are introduced,so as to provide ideas for researchers to choose suitable methods or develop new methods for determination of COD of high-chlorine wastewater.
