Based on the ADTD lightning location data of Zhejiang Province from 2007 to 2019, using the fixed grid method, the CG lightning density and thunder days are selected as the lightning prone index. According to the standard requirements, the percentile method and re classification technology are used to classify the lightning prone level, and the lightning prone zoning of this area is obtained. The lightning prone areas in Zhejiang Province are divided into four levels: extremely strong prone area, strong prone area, medium prone area and general prone area. Most areas in Zhejiang Province are medium prone area and strong prone area. Most areas in Ningbo, Taizhou, Wenzhou and Quzhou, as well as southern Hangzhou, Hangzhou Shaoxing junction, central and southern Jinhua and northern Lishui have higher lightning prone level. According to different lightning prone levels and their characteristics, the corresponding disaster prevention analysis is made from the aspects of standardizing the installation and detection of lightning protection devices, improving the lightning early warning signal transmission mechanism, improving the public lightning protection awareness level and promoting the professional service of lightning disaster prevention, which has practical guiding significance for further reducing the occurrence of lightning disasters and improving the social lightning disaster prevention ability.
