应用型民办本科高校英语专业英语演讲与辩论课程模块化教学改革研究

在培养对外话语人才的新时代背景下,英语演讲与辩论课程在高校外语教学中扮演着重要的角色。应用型民办本科高校重视课程的实践性和学生的综合能力,作为英语专业的核心课程,将模块化教学运用到英语演讲与辩论课程中可推动传统教学模式改革,提升教学质量,培养学生思辨、表达、跨文化交际等综合能力,从而为培养合格的对外话语人才打下扎实的基础。文章将从模块化教学内容与教学目标、教学方法、教学评估考核三个方面,详细探讨应用型民办本科高校英语专业英语演讲与辩论课程模块化教学改革的主要内容。

In the new era of cultivating foreign speaking talents, English speech and debate course plays an important role in foreign language teaching in colleges and universities. As a core course of English majors, applying module teaching method to English speech and debate course can promote the reform of traditional teaching mode, improve teaching quality, and cultivate students’ comprehensive ability of thinking, expressing and intercultural communication, thus laying a solid foundation for the cultivation of qualified foreign speaking talents. This paper will discuss the main content of the module teaching reform of English speech and debate course for English major in application-oriented private university from three aspects: module teaching content and teaching objectives, teaching methods, and teaching assessment and evaluation.
