EFL学习者在学习英语公共演讲后自我效能认知的提升——以东北大学为例

摘要 文章就自我效能感与英语公共演讲课的关系以及EFL学习者在公共演讲课程中对自我效能的认知展开了调查研究。本研究采取调查问卷和访谈两种数据收集方法,研究样本是东北大学英语公共演讲选修课的48名学生。研究的结果说明学生的自我效能在学习英语公共演讲之后有所提升,学生对当众演讲更有信心,并且自我效能不仅仅在英语公共演讲课中有效,在其他课程中也有正向作用。 This article reports on the relationship of self-efficacy and English public speaking course,and reveals EFL learners’perception towards self-efficacy through learning English public speaking.This research employs a survey study by means of two data collection techniques:questionnaire and interview.The samples of this research are 48 students enrolled in English public speaking course in Northeastern University.The research result shows that students’self-efficacy have improved after completing public speaking course and students feel confident using English in front of people.Furthermore,it also shows that self-efficacy takes effect not only in English public speaking course,but also in other courses.
