环境英语翻译策略研究

随着全球环境污染加剧,人们对环境问题越来越重视,在环境污染的危害及防治方面的国际交流日趋广泛,因此环境英语翻译对环境科学技术的交流和发展尤为重要。文章基于交际翻译理论,以水体药剂污染文章“What to Do About the Antidepressants, Antibiotics and Other Drugs in Our Water”为例,从词汇层面分析总结常见的翻译方法,以期促进对环保问题及环境英语翻译策略的深入研究。

With the worsening pollution of global environment, people pay more and more attention to environmental problems and international exchanges on the hazards and prevention of environmental pollution are becoming increasingly extensive. As a result, environmental English translation is particularly important for the communication and development of environmental science and technology. Based on communicative translation theory, this paper attempts to analyze and summarize the common translation strategies in the case of “What to Do About the Antidepressants, Antibiotics and Other Drugs in Our Water” on pharmaceutical pollution of water from the lexical aspect, hoping to promote the further research on the issues of environmental protection and translation strategies for environmental English.
