浅谈电子科技英语翻译技巧

英语,作为世界通用语言,在日新月异的科技发展中起着重要的信息载体作用。因此,正确理解并翻译科技文本可以有效保障该领域前沿信息传播的准确性和科学性。科技英语具有与基础英语不同的特点,需要更科学的翻译技巧。文章结合笔者在业界领先的电子产品开发公司进行的大量的翻译实践,以电子科技英语的翻译为切入点,结合典型的翻译实例,从词汇和句法两个层面探讨电子科技英语翻译的难点及技巧,并提出了翻译实践中尚未解决的问题,以期为电子科技英语的汉译提供参考。

English, as the universal language, plays an important role in the process of the dissemination of scientific and technological information. Therefore, the correct understanding and translation of English for science and technology can effectively ensure the accuracy and scientificity of the dissemination of cutting-edge information in this field. Compared with common texts, more scientific translation skills are required for scientific texts. Based on a large number of translation practice made by the author in a world top electronics company, this paper takes the translation of electronic science and technology as the breakthrough point to discuss the E-C translation skills in the field from the lexical and syntactic levels respectively, and propose unresolved problems in translation practice, with a view to providing a reference for E-C translation of electronic technology texts.
