摘要 This is a much-anticipated volume that fills a current research gap on the applicability of Confucianism to education in the twenty-first century.Bringing together scholars from China,Canada and the US,the book addresses a wide range of educational issues from K-12 to higher education.The 12 chapters are organized into three sections:relevance of Confucianism to American and Chinese education;Confucian insights on teaching and learning;and Confucianism and the social and moral functions of education.
