In order to promote the smooth development of surveying and mapping,and guarantee the high efficient development of the project construction,the study introduces digital surveying and mapping technology.The advantages mainly reflect in accurate data;automation project;information richness;convenience of data storage;advanced technology;clear,reserved and safe content,etc.The study analyzes the specific application of digital surveying and mapping technology,i.e.digital original drawing,mapping aerial survey,earth,cadastral,3S,and planning project information technology,etc;prospects the development tendency of China’s digital surveying and mapping technology.The application of intelligent technology becomes more and more widespread.It is suggested to continuously innovate digital surveying and mapping technology,strengthen location technique,improve the accuracy and scientificity of the application of surveying and mapping technology,fully play the application value of digital surveying and mapping technology,to provide solid basis for the high qualified project construction.
