The Construction of the Animal Ethics Theory from the Perspective of a Community of Life

生命共同体是习近平生态文明思想的核心理念,在本体论、认识论、方法论、价值论等层面具有丰富的哲学内涵和新颖的伦理意蕴,为剖析西方动物伦理思想、构建生命共同体视域下的动物伦理提供了新的视角。随着人类社会由工业文明向生态文明迈进,对照人与自然生命共同体理念和生态文明建设实践的要求,现有的西方动物伦理思想面临着一系列理论和实践困境。新时代,以生命共同体理念为基石的动物伦理要求,拓宽动物伦理考察视角,以马克思主义自然观为指导,以尊重生命、和谐发展、共生共荣为价值导向,确立个体和整体相结合的伦理基础,分类构建多元化的动物伦理体系,把握不干扰、最小伤害、共同保护等基本伦理原则。

The community of life is the core concept of Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization,which holds strong philosophical connotations and novel ethical implications in the aspects of ontology,epistemology,methodology,and axiology.It provides a new point of view for the analysis of western animal ethics and the construction of animal ethics from the perspective of building a community of life.With the development of human society from industrial civilization to ecological civilization,compared with the concept of a community of life for man and nature and the requirements of the construction of ecological civilization,the existing western animal ethics is facing a series of difficulties at both the theoretical level and the practical level.In the new era,we should take the philosophy of the community of life as the cornerstone,broaden the perspective of animal ethics,and be guided by Marxist view of nature and the concept of respecting life,harmonious development,and common prosperity.What's more,we also should establish the ethical basis of combining the individual and the whole,construct a diversified animal ethics system,and follow the fundamental ethical principles such as non-interference,minimal harm and common protection.
