浙西南吴语“鸡嗉子”读音的本字——兼论浙西南吴语模、虞韵读如鱼韵白读现象

On the original written form of jisuzi(鸡嗉子)in Wu dialects of southwestern Zhejiang

浙西南吴语“鸡嗉子”的“嗉”,方言文献都写成同音字“卸、细”。论文通过对浙西南吴语遇摄模韵读音层次的辨析,指出模韵有读同鱼韵的白读层次,其本字就是一等模韵的“嗉”字。浙西南吴语与江西赣语模韵和虞韵都有读同鱼韵白读的层次,反映了二者早期音韵特征上的密切关系。

In dialects of southwestern Zhejiang province,the su(嗉)in jisuzi(鸡嗉子)is usually written as卸=or细=which are homophonous.This paper analyzes the strata of MC mo(模)rhymes and points out that they may share the same pronunciation with a stratum of colloquial yu(鱼)rhymes.Therefore,the original written form of su should be嗉which belongs to the first division of mo rhymes.In the Wu dialects of southwestern Zhejiang province and the Gan dialects of Jiangxi province,mo and yu rhymes can be pronounced the same as the colloquial yu rhymes.This reflects the close relation between the two in history.
