大学英语阅读教学中的文化教学策略

摘要 培养学生的跨文化交际能力是大学英语的教学目标之一,阅读教学是大学英语教学的主要形式,在阅读教学中进行文化教学就成为培养学生跨文化交际能力的重要途径。探讨教师实施文化教学的三个策略:从背景、主旨、细节和词汇入手充分挖掘教材的文化教学资源;从物质、制度和精神三个维度进行文化比较;通过增加信息渠道、不断更新认知克服刻板印象。 Cultivating students’intercultural communication skills is one of the teaching goals of college English,and reading teaching is the main form of college English teaching,so teaching culture in reading classes becomes an important way to cultivate students’intercultural communication skills.Three strategies for teachers to implement culture teaching are discussed:to fully explore the culture teaching resources of the textbook in terms of background,main idea,details and vocabulary;to compare cultures from three dimensions of material,institutional and spiritual;and to overcome stereotypes by increasing information channels and constantly updating cognition.
