Weifang,in East China's Shandong Province,is known as the world's capital of kites,Chinese paintings and Chinese epigraphy.It has guqin,a traditional Chinese stringed musical instrument,and paper-cutting listed as masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by the United Nations Educational,Scicentific and Cultural Organization(UNESCO).
山东省维坊市是历史上有名的手工业发达地区,素有“南苏州北维县”的美誉,拥有联合国“人类口头和非物质遗产代表性名录”古琴和剪纸两项,拥有世界风筝都、中国画都、中国金石之都等文化类荣誉。2021年,联合国教科文组织正式发布全球新加入创意城市网络名单,维坊成功入选并荣膺“手工艺与民间艺术之都”称号。
