Global Natural Rubber Industry Situation in 2021 and Prospect in 2022

2021年,全球天然橡胶产业在新冠肺炎疫情影响下基本正常运行,产量和消费量分别同比增长3.20%和9.90%,进口和出口量分别同比增长7.75%和9.25%。其中我国天然橡胶产量同比增长23.01%,消费量同比增长6.02%,但是进口总量同比减少8.94%,青岛天然橡胶库存减少58.73%。2021年国内外天然橡胶价格分别同比上涨16.24%和27.09%。展望2022年,全球天然橡胶产量可能增长1.80%~3.50%,消费量增长3.00%,天然橡胶价格大幅度增长的可能性较小,波动性较大;其中,我国天然橡胶产销量可能小幅度增长,浓缩胶乳市场竞争可能加重。

In 2021,the global natural rubber industry performed normally despite the influence of the COVID-19,with the production and consumption growing by 3.20%and 9.90%.Imports and exports increased by 7.75%and 9.25%,respectively.Among them,China's natural rubber output increased by 23.01%,and the consumption increased by 6.02%,but total imports decreased by 8.94%.The natural rubber inventory in Qingdao reduced 58.73%.In 2021,the domestic and foreign prices of natural rubber rose 16.24%and 27.09%,respectively.Looking ahead to 2022,the global natural rubber production may grow by 1.80%to 3.50%,and consumption may increase by 3.00%.The natural rubber price is unlikely to go up substantially,while its fluctuation is bigger.The natural rubber production and sales in China may increase slightly,but the concentrated latex market competition may be more intensive.
